Perpetual Guardian is a company in New Zealand. In March and April of this year, the company had an interesting experiment. It allowed its employees to work only 4 days a week, and still paid them for 5 days.

The employees were very happy with the experiment. Because they spent less time at work, they could spend more time with their families. They had less stress. They were more productive at work. They loved their jobs more.

The experiment was a success for the company. It decided that this should be the new schedule. Its employees will continue to work only 4 days a week.
