On Saturday, South Korea played against Japan in the men's football final at the 2018 Asian Games.

It was a tight match. Both teams could not score any goals in the regular 90 minutes and had to play extra time.

South Korea then scored two goals. Five minutes before the match ended, Japan finally score one goal but it was already too late. South Korea won the match.

Besides winning the gold medal, South Korea players will also get another reward. In South Korea, all men must serve in the military. However, with this victory, the players are not required to do that anymore.

This is a great news for their most famous player, Son Heung Min. Son currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur, a team in the English Premier League. He can now fully focus on his football career.
